The following is a listing of resources in the Triangle area that can help meet your immediate physical needs.......If you are in a crisis situation (abuse, pregnancy, etc.) then GO HERE.

Walk-In to apply Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (8:30 to 9:00AM).  Please call before coming in to find out guidelines and documentation needed.

- must be working at least 30 hours per week or have proof that you have been laid off within the last 6 months.
- if disabled, must show proof of disability benefits
- must have proof of rent of $300 or more per month ($200 if on disability)
- utilities assistance (must have final notice)
- rent assistance (must have court eviction papers)

Help with rent, prescriptions, utilities @ $150 maximum per year.  Help with food monthly.

Wake county will fill one prescription per year on an emergency basis.  You need to bring:

- driver's license
- social security card
- proof of income or being laid off
- prescription (or last prescription bottle showing at least one remain prescription)

The prescription cost is limited to $200.  If you have questions, call 212-7000 and ask for Mary Nelson.
